Chamberlain, 98, who lived her i early life in McHenry, died Nov. 20, according to word received by relatives.v Mrs. Chamberlain, who resided in West Allis, Wis., was the aunt of Miss Clara Miller of McHenry. Her husband, George Chamberlain, preceded her in death. She is survived by one son, George, and a daughter, Hazel Yockey; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Burial was in St.Mary cemetery, McHenry. LLOYD F. DOWELL Lloyd F. Dowell, 84, 208 S. Main steet, Wauconda, passed away Thursday, Nov* 29 in North Chicago Veterans Administration hospital. He was born Nov. 11,1895 in the Volo area to Charles and Cora (Powers) Dowell. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. E. Lloyd (Goldie) Fisher and a brother, Elwood Dowell, both of Wauconda. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Ella in 1924, Mrs. George (Zella) Scheid and a brother, Milton in 1969. Mr. Dowell was a dairy farmer in the Lake-McHenry county area most of his life; was a WW I Army veteran and American Legion Post member, Wauconda post 911. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, 1:30 p.m. in the George R. Justen & Son funeral home with Reverend Ralph Smith of the First United Methodist church officiating. Burial was in. the Wauconda cemetery. KENNETH W. BECKELMAN Kenneth W. Beckelman, 48, a resident of 9716 Mayline avenue, Richmond, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28 at his home. He was born in Chicago, March 20, 1931 and lived in Richmond for the past four and a half years, formerly of Pistakee Hills and Fox Lake over twenty years. He was in the salvage business; a veteran of the Korean conflict, having served in the U. S. Air Force; a member of Lakes £legion post 703 in Fox Lake. 1 Mr. Beckelman is survived by his widow, Betty M. (Dewey); his mother, Effie Beckelman, Oak Park; two, brothers, Thomas of Chicago and Frank of Oak Park; two sisters, Dolores Corcoran and Patricia. Sutton, both of Mt. Prospect; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles. Funeral services were held Saturday morning, Dec. 1 at the K.K.Hamsher funeral home. Interment followed at South Solon cemetery in Solon Mills. LAVERNE K. KAEMMERER LaVerne K. Kaemmerer, 1502 W. Jones, Riverdale subdivision, died at her home Nov. 29, She was born Aug. 14, 1926 in Medford, Wis., the daughter of John and Josephine Brandel. She was married to Hilton Kaemmerer in Medford, Wis., and operated LaRons Tap. Mrs.. Kaemmerer is survived by her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Ronald .(Sheryl) Lee of Elgin, Diane Haiges of Wisconsin and Patti Beebe of Aurora; five grandchildren, nine brothers and four sisters. Funeral mass was held at St. Thomas church, Crystal Lake, Saturday, Dec. 1, and interment was in Windridge cemetery, Cary. GLENN P. DOLES Glenn P. Doles, 5803 Wonder Woods drive, Wonder Lake, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Joseph hospital, Elgin, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident Saturday, Nov. 24, on Crystal Lake road near Crystal Lake. He was 34 years old, born in Youngstown, Ohio May 26, 1945, the son of John and Wanda (Castor) Doles. He lived at Wonder Lake about six years, having come from Milwaukee, and was a department manager for the Oaks Industries in Crystal Lake. Mr. Doles is survived by his wife, Joy (Brabenec), whom he married June 15, 1968 at the Wonder Lake- Bible church, Wonder Lake; also, two sons, Andrew, hree and a half, and John, fifteen months; two brothers, Gary of Ohio and John of New Jersey; a paternal grandmother, Mrs. John Doles of Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents. He served oh the Wonder Lake Bible church Board and was the superintendent of Sunday school teachers. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the K. K. Hamsher funeral home with ^pastor Richard N. Wright officiating. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Wonder Lake Bible church or the Crystal Lake Rescue squad. BERNADETTE L. JAGODKA Bernadette L. Jagodka, 906 Hayden drive, McHenry, died Thursday, Nov. 29 at the Loyola Medical center,' Maywood. She was 31 years old, born in Chicago Feb. 26, 1948, the daughter of John J. and Stella (Bocian) Jagodka. She lived here six years, having come from Chicago. Miss Jagodka is survived by her mother, Stell, of McHenry; a sister, Theresa (Jim) Wajs, McHenry; a brother, John Jagodka, Crystal, Lake; a niece and a nephew. A funeral Mass was held Monday, 11 a.m. at St. Mary's church, McHenry and burial was in St. John's cemetery, Johnsburg. JAMES F. QUINN James F. Quinn, Jr., 67, of 3107 W. route 120, McHenry, died Sunday, Dec. 2 at the Carestoel Professional Care center. He was born in 1912 in the Kankakee area, to James and Ernestine (Fraser) Quinn, Sr. No family members survive him, but he will be long remembered by his friends and neighbors. He was a resident of McHenry over thirty years. Visitation was scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home, from 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Prayer service will take place at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held Wednesdav. 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic church, with Father Joseph Teafoe officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Chur­ chyard cemetery. CHOIRS IN CONCERT St. Mary's choirs of Woodstock are preparing for their annual Christmas concert which will be held Sunday, Dec. 9, at 4 p.m. in the church. A free will of­ fering will be taken. Students may take the test at the time that is most convenient - advance registration is not necessary. The resultsof the SRA are used in the placement of students in freshman classes for the 1980-81 school year. Classes will be selected at f r e s h m a n r e g i s t r a t i o n Sunday, Feb. 24. A small fee is charged for the test, which will last approximately hours.
