As submitted, the preannexation agreement grants zoning or variances for the various uses specified in the agreement and HDG promises lo make certain donations of money and dedications of land as the development of the 286-tract proceeds. It was pointed out that if the planned unit development (PUD) by RDG or other developer fails, the zoning reverts to the underlying zoning which by this agreement is the same as in the PUD. It consists of less than one acre. Flooding pifoblems are still critical in the Fox river area. River road south of McHenry has been closed in one location because water has been over a foot deep in one portion of the road between the dam and Moraine Hills State park. Some residents along River Terrace near Johnsburg were forced to evacuate their homes because the flooding conditions had covered the septic systems, making them inoperable. The City Council spilt up the federal revenue sharing pie, estimated at $117,728 for this year. The largest slice, $96,728 was set aside for park and recreational facilities.
