The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Boro, 1211 W. Route 120, McHenry. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mai, 1402 N. Oakwood court, McHenry, are the parents of the groom. Pastor Roger Schneider officiated at the 4 p.m. solemnization and special selections, performed by Joy and Craig Spengel, were "Sunrise-Sunset" and "Since You've Asked". The bride's complete ensemble was designed by her mother. The dress of white peau de soie and chiffon featured bishop sleeves, and a sweetheart neckline trimmed with white pearls on a lace bodice. The skirt, trimmed in lace at the hemline, ended in a graceful train. Her picture hat with a chapel veil was adorned with white silk -flowers. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses, gardenias and stephanotis. Kathie Quist, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids wore Debbie Boro, cousin of the bride and Terri Mai, sister of the groom. Attendants wore dusty rose and white floral print, floor length dresses with matching shawls. They carried white lace fans decorated with pink camellias, white roses and baby's breath. Each wore a matching flowercomb in her hair. Steven Mai, a brother of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Brian Nuss, friend of the groom and Ray Boro, a brother of the bride. The mother of the bride chose a navy blue Quiana floor length A-line gown with a V-shaped , neckline enhanced by a navy pleated chiffon cape. The choice of the groom's mother was a seaspray Quiana floor length dress with empire waist, pleated skirt and matching bolero jacket. A reception for 145 guests was held at Raymond's in Johnsburg. Out of town guests included Lenny and Kim Blades, Republic, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. Alan Peterson and Daughter, Ingrid, of No. Brunswick, N. Mrs. Melby is the mother of two teenage daughters; a deaconess in the Antioch Evangelical Free church; chairwoman of the Westosha, Wis. Christian Women's club and Awana youth club leader. A fashion show will be presented and many spring fashions for mothers and daughters will be on display, all created by Sandy Kivett of McHenry. Honeymoon In Hawaii Plan Fair Diddley 99 A visit to the romantic island of Hawaii is in the honeymoon plans of newly married Mr. and Mrs. Patrick James McAndrews, who will reside in McHenry upon their return. The former Mary Louise Kleinhenz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie R. Kleinhenz, 1903 Ravina street, Janesville, Wis., and Patrick James McAndrews, son of Mr. and Mrs. James I. McAndrews, 7212 W. Bull Valley road, McHenry, exchanged promises of marriage before Reverend Joseph T. Strange in St. William Catholic church, Janesville, April 12, at 2 p.m. Special music for the liturgy was provived by Mary Ann Wegener and the church wad beautifully decorated with Easter lilies. The bride looked radiant in an ivory Victorian organza gown trimmed with venice. lace,mbodice accented with pearls and an empire waist. An apron effect accented the skirt with a full chapel train. A pearl trimmed venice lace caplet held a waltz length veil edged in venice lace and a chapel length veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of silk flowers fashioned of ivory camellia blossoms and baby's breath. Leslie Ann Kleinhenz, Janesville, served as her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Colleen McAndrews, McHenry, sister of the groom; Jeanne M. Kleinhenz, sister of the bride; Cheryl Kleinhenz, sister-in-law of the bride and Donna Jorenby, friend of the bride, all of Janesville. Attendants were gowned in abergine knit gowns with blouson bodice, side slits and button accents on the skirts. They carried silk flower bouquets of baby's breath with pink and red roses. Duties of best man were handled by David Olszak, Deerfield, HI., a friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Thomas McAndrews, Herrin, 111. and John McAndrews, Hoffman Estates, HI., both brothers of the groom; Thomas and Joseph Kleinhenz, brothers of the bride, both of Janesville. William Kleinhenz, brother of the bride, and Anthony McAndrews, brother of the groom, were ushers. The mother of the bride wore a rose Quiana formal with blouson bodice and side drape skirt. The mother of the groom chose a light pink formal with pleated skirt. At 5 p.m., a dinner was served to 290 guests at the Hoffman House in Janesville, followed by dancing at 7 p.m. The bride graduated in 1972 from Mercy hospital, school of Radiologic Technology, Janesville; in 1973 from St. Mary's hospital school of Nuclear Medicine, Madison and is currently employed as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the McHenry hospital. The groom was a 1973 graduate of Loras college, Dubuque, la.; a 1976 graduate of Creightpn Law school, Omaha, Neb. and is presently an attorney for Rhode, Lynch Law Firm in Antioch, 111. Members of the Mental Health Resource League for McHenry County are busily making preparations for this year's "Fair Diddley", to be held Sunday, May 18, on the Woodstock square. With Spring cleaning underway, league members are asking everyone to give them a call before discarding unused and unwanted items that tend to accumulate year after year. The Fair's Book Booth will be happy to take those boxes of paperbacks, children's classics, cookbooks, National Geographies, and other volumes no longer wanted. Also needed for this booth are phonograph records that are in good condition. Members of the Fair committee are also seeking donations of children's clothing, infants through size 14. nursery items, toys and games that are in good condition; To donate any of these items please contact Mrs. John T. (Suzanne) Beam, McHenry. In addition to the booths at "Fair Diddley", there will be a variety of arts and crafts on display by the 250 exhibitors that are expected to attend. As in the past, there will be live entertainment in the bandstand, plus three performances of "Story Theatre" for children in the Woodstock Opera House during the afternoon. All proceeds from the Fair are used to benefit mental health programs and ser­ vices in McHenry county. Senior Walk-In Center Right or Wrong Gus-Your wife's diction is perfect when she talks.
