Lakeland Park & Lakeland Shores Carol Cominsky 385-7246 Family Outing The Gacek family traveled to Chicago recently for a triple celebration. It was Easter, Sharon's sistei\ Donna Marie's eighteenth birthday and Donna's engagement. Bobby, Jay and Antionette enjoyed seeing grand parents, Bob and Irene DeSilva, grandmother Ann Bielawski and great grand- m o t h e r A n t i o n e t t e Myllowski. Others present were, great uncles Richard and Eddie; cousins Alepio and Marty; aunt Helen and uncle Stanley of Wheeling; uncle Dennis Kurowski; cousin Dawn Muscarello and her daughter Danella. There was good food, cakes were served and everyone present agreed it was a lovely day. BIRTHDAY BOY Ron and Barb Stein- sdoerfer's son Ronnie turned 8 years old April 13. He had a busy day being the star of two parties. The festivities began at noon with his sister Eva, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Mike Bukovsky, grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Current, uncle Bill Bukovsky with his children Billy, Cherie and Brenda, aunt Selma Anderson and great grandma Gen. Later in the afternoon Barb had to bring out more cake and ice cream for his friends, Scott, Jimmy, Karen, Peter, Melissa, Jeff, cousins Billy, Cherie and Brenda and his sister Eva. Sounds like Ronnie had a very nice birthday this year. BIRTHDAY GIRL Little Lisa Mayer, daughter of Gregory and Debbie, turned 4 years old April 4. Her mom had the right idea when she took her and brother Eric, friends Christopher, Kristin, Shana, Erin and cousins Todd, Jim, and Adam Kloth to lunch. The children enjoyed having hamburgers, fries, soft drinks, cake and ice cream. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Mayer took the birthday girl and her family out for dinner that evening. BIRTHDAY 'BOY'?? Our friend and neighbor, Joe Creasey informed me I missed wishing him a happy birthday April 9. That was easy to do since I never knew the date and it wasn't in my date book. If you can't remember whether or not you let one of the previous columnists know your family's birth dates, of if you're new to Lakeland Park, be sure to give me a call so I can put you down in the book. " Hope your birthday was a good one Joe. (I'll be on time next year). HOME FROM HOSPITAL Hank Wiley is now home recuperating from his back injury and I understand that it will take some time. At least he was home by the eighteenth, for Andy's and Patricia's birthdays. Since Hank will be home for some time and he likes to talk as much as I do, I can put you in touch with him, if you'd like to help speed his recovery time. CHRISTENING Nicole Ann Prazak, daughter of Ken and Sue, was christened at St. Patrick's church Sunday, April 13. Her sisters, Tracy and Heather, were among those who attended the 12:15 Mass. The Prazaks held an open house following the service. Her godparents were neighbors, Georgia and Bob Boyle. Grandparents, Joe and Agnes Prazak; uncle Don with girlfriend Arlene; the Kenney family; the William Smith family; the Tom Bittermans; the Campos; uncle Ken Vanek and Jolene and Steve Plein were some of the guests to come by. Ken and Sue celebrated their eleventh wedding anniversary April 19 by spending a quiet evening at home. ANNIVERSARY Our good friends, Bob and Karen Doessel celebrated their twenty-first an niversary April 11. Bob took Karen to Richmond for lobster dinner. I don't know how it hap pened, but I completely forgot and was totally em- barrased when I called to invite Karen over for a Boggle game and Bob in formed me what day it was. I don't blame her for choosing the dinner; I'd have done the same. CELEBRATIONS A happy birthday on April 24 to Lloyd Dawson; and to Timothy Stephens who will be 5 years old. The twenty- fifth is Ray Rodes' big day. Kevin Hughes will be 3 April 26, and his sister Katie will turn 5 on the twenty-seventh. She shares her day with Lucille Ann Corey who turns 11 years old. Gloria and Bill Federenko will be married 35 years April 27. Elizabeth Serritella will be 10 April 28 and George Heuer Sr., shares her day. Antionette Lynn Gacek will be 6 years old April 29 and Anette Arroyo and Curt Bremer hear the birthday song the same day.
