Rand road, McHenry, was selected as the sophomore attendant to the 1980 Homeocming Court at North Central college, Naperville, 111. A graduate of McHenry Community high school, Ms. Betancourt was chosen by popular vote of the student body at the west-suburban, independent, liberal arts college. Let cool 10 minutes before adding lemon juice and rind. Heat again before serving. Serve the cider from a pumpkin head cider bowl. Decorated Marshmallows Decorate fresh marsh- mallows with owls, bats, pumpkin faces and black cats, using a very fine paint brush dipped in mehed cho­ colate. Morin Infant Baptized Krista Lynnea Morin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Morin of Spring Grove was baptized Sunday, Sept. 21, at a 10:30 a.m. ceremony in the Lutheran Church of All Saints, Fox Lake. The infant was attired in an heirloom, lace trimmed, long dress which has been in the family for eighty years. Following the celebration, a luncheon was held in the church for relatives, guests and congregation. Special guests sharing the joyous occasion included the baby's maternal grand­ parents, James and Adeline Chaps of McHenry ; paternal grandmother, Mrs. Audrey Morin of Pistakee; the m a t e r n a l g r e a t - grandmother, Mrs. Frances Jackson of McHenry; and p a t e r n a l g r e a t - grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Morin of Chicago. A highlight of the event was the presence of four generations, including the celebrant, her mother Amy Morin, grandmother Adeline Chaps and great- grandmother Frances Jackson. How To Make Cheese One can be independent, creative and resourceful, and make his-her own cheese. The "how to" skills will be shared Nov. 13, 7:30 p.m., at the cafeteria in the McHenry hospital, McHenry. The program, given by Michael Stephenson, will tell how to make cheese and where to get basic supplies. Participants will be able to see homemade cheese, taste homemade cheese, and get instructions on how to .make their gwn homemade cheese. Sponsored by the University of Illinois Ex­ tension service in McHenry county, there is no charge for this program, but par­ ticipants should call the Extension office to reserve a space. She is a doctor's receptionist and he attends Wright Junior college, Chicago.
