Eleanor Haerle of McHenry Chapter 1348 of the Women of the Moose was recently invested with the Red Stole The ceremony took place at the annual Chapter Rally day which was held at the Harvard Lodge this year. The Red Stole is one of the highest honors to be received by a Women of the Moose member and is attained only after many requirements are fulfilled Mrs. Haerle was invested with her Red Stole by co­ worker Ha Hogan, also a member of the College of Regents. FISH new The Department of Illinois, Indies Auxiliary to Veterans of Foreign Wars will hold a luncheon honoring Jeanette Frank, national president of the Ladies Auxiliary, Apr 4, in Rosemont. Mrs. Frank, Two Rivers, Wis., was elected national president of the organization at the sixty-seventh national convention in Chicago. Power Of Patriotism, the national president's theme, is a mighty force uniting patriots of all ages, creeds and races in a love for America -that--keeps our country strong and free. She urges all Americans to join with members of the Ladies Auxiliary to meet the challenge of these critical times. Her emblem is the American flag unfurled about the Ladies Auxiliary V.F W banner, representing unceasing service of the members. This is just one of the games that can be played at the Valley View PTO sponsored Fun Fair, to be held at the school Apr. 4. The fun day begins at 11 a.m. and the organization promises games and prizes for everyone until 3:30 p.m. Hot dogs, cold drinks, pop corn, and home baked products will be oiffered for sale during the entire day. The sale begins Thursday, Apr. 2, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. On Friday, Apr. 3, the hours are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday.
