YSB Names Officers i Don Boswell, left, new president of the Youth Service bureau board of directors, was recently elected to that position along with Doris Wagner, secretary; and Ron Steadman, treasurer. At the recent meeting, the board of directors for the Youth Service bureau elected a new slate of of­ ficers They are president, Don Boswell of Woodstock, vice-president. Maurie Taylor of McHenry; treasurer. Ron Steadman of Woodstock; and secretary, Doris Wagner of Harvard. Boswell is a former juvenile officer with the Woodstock Police depart­ ment and past president of the McHenry County J u v e n i l e * O f f i c e r s ' association. He was one of the original supporters of the YSB in 1975, and looks for­ ward to again working with the board as its president. Boswell stated, "Since my retirement from the police force, I have not taken a very active role in com­ munity life This will give me an opportunity to par­ ticipate in a meaningful way and to become reinvolved with the issues that young people are facing. Hopefully, my role as president will facilitate a continuation of my relationship with many of my former colleagues on the McHenry county police departments." All four officers were elected for one-vear terms. In addition. Steadman will chair the Budget committee and Mrs. Wagner is mem­ bership chairperson. The next meeting of the board will be Wednesday.
