After expressing ap­ preciation to his officers, various chairmen of com­ mittees and all the members for their support find assistance in making his year one of harmony, he installed Mary Cholewa, president? Joe Roti, vice- president; Lucille Schrader, secretary. Sally Matt, treasurer; and Cecilia Morrill, financial secretary. The new Kitchen chairman is Lucille Kowar. The new _ president acknowledged gratitude to the members for their confidence in her and promised to serve to the best of her ability. Joe Roti read a testimonial on Bill Lamont and the members voted to make him an honorary member. Sally Matt, chairman of the Dominick luncheon, gave her report and extended an invitation to members and friends to come and enjoy a good lunch. At the next meeting, April 20, blood pressures will be taken from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This service is offered to all senior citizens of Wonder Lake. Her husband is employed by Flintkote Roofing company as a sales representative. The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents Friday night at the Branded Steak House, Crystal Lake. Inspirational speakers for the evening will be Jean and Bill Buften of Winona Lake, Ind. They are parents of three children and both are active speakers for various groups. A special feature will be given by Sergeant George Meyers, who will present ideas on self defense, protection of property and ways to help law en­ forcement. A longtime resident of Woodstock, he has many years of law en­ forcement experience. Meyers was an employee of the Woodstock Police department, served as a Joliet prison guard and presently is in the Safety Education division of the McHenry County Sheriffs department. Music for the evening will be provided by the Madrigal singers of Crystal Lake South high school. Directed by Paul Berringer, the group is well known for its annual Madrigal Dinner, complete with Renaissance costumes. The Whirlers learned to dance at Gavin school in Ingleside and have danced continuously in various locations in West Lake county and McHenry county since then. The regular dance will be held in Johnsburg Junior high from 8 to 11 p.m. " Following an hour break, at midnight, a "Night Owl" dance will start and continue with numerous visiting callers and round dance leaders Refreshments will be available at both dances.
