Sr. Mary Theodore STRANGER THAN FICTION Solaramir I and Anthartus Hoi; meeting of the Sub-committee of Enforcement and Execution; to Theos I. By your order to the Committee, the life forms on Carstarus D4 were to be extinguished. This Sub-committee requests that such order be reviewed. The Committee's report to you found that "...Nowhere in the galaxy has this Committee seen such foolishness and disaster. The Hfe forms refuse to acknowledge your authority; they reject your counsel; they spurn your messengers. They have listened only to their own voice, with the result that they fight among each other, destroy the planet, and are sunk deep in despair and rebellion." In drawing near the planet to execute the order, this Sub committee observed that some of the life forms have since listened to the warning of your messengers. They have turned away from their rebellion and independence and turned toward you. They have accepted your authority. Knowing your mercy, this Sub-committee thought you would want to review the changed factual situation before execution of the order. Theos I; to the Sub-committee. You did well. 1 have compassion on all who turn to me. The order is rescinded. This account is based on a true story, recorded in the book of Jonah, chapter three. ADV.
