This spirit, which has lasted through the centuries, was created for Bernardino Luini, an artist of the Leonardo da Vinci School who was painting a fresco in the chapel of the Sanctuary of Santa Maria della Grazie in Saronno. Now in the 1980s the Sar onno Love Cake, a symbol of love, is a fitting conclusion to the marriage ceremony, a tradi tion of love.
