Central Wisconsin En­ vironmental center from Aug 16 through Aug 22. Linda is a former McHenry county YCC participant and was selected as an alternate leader for the 1981 season. The Carl Mitchell Memorial scholarship was created by the friends of Mr. Mitchell in his memory in 1980 Mr Mitchell was a McHenry county botanist and horticulturist and leading innovater in plant related fields. Vacation Bible School At Methodist Church Vacation Bible schttl will be held at. the First United Methodist church of McHenry next week. June 15-19 It will be from 9 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. for the five days. Registration will begin at 8:40 a m Monday. On Friday, there will be a picnic until 11:45 a.m. The children are to bring a sack lunch that day. and drinks will be furnished. The closing program will be June 19 at 7:30 p.m. VBS is for all children from 3 years of age up to and including those who have iust completed the seventh grade. The theme for all children up through sixth grade is 'I Love Jesus, Jesus Loves Me.' The seventh graders will be studying lessons on decision making called "Your Move!" A11 the lessons have a strong biblical emphasis, and all groups will have op­ portunities for art. music, recreation and group sharing. A great deal of planning and preparation have been done to make this an in­ teresting and worthwhile experience.
