More than 150 suburban campaign leaders attended the workshop which dealt with campaign communications programs and residential, school, corporate and hospital solicitation. The half-4)|y seminar was conducted by the suburban campaigns division of the United Way-Crusade of Mercy and the United Way of Suburban Chicago. The United Way of Suburban Chicago, one of the allocating members of the United Way-Crusade of Mercy, has 92 member United Ways covering 200 suburbs which conduct individual campaigns as part of the metropolitan-wide drive. Capital Campaign Of Hospital At Mid-Mark this drive which includes a large number of volunteer team members. Vice- chairmen are Dr. Margaret Phillips, Alan Cornue, Ron Huber and Kenneth Schuh. Fourteen sub-committees round out the campaign's executive committee. The Capital campaign to help raise funds to finance the expansion program under way at Memorial hospital at Woodstock has neared the halfway mark in the goal to raise $lVfe million. Chester Gould, honorary campaign chairman, said the latest contributions bring the total to $711,000 and includes sizable con tributions from foundations, businesses and industries.
