PEACH OR APPLE RAISIN CRISP 6 cups sliced, peeled and pitted peaches or sliced, peeled and cored apples 2 tablespoons lemon juice Vfe cup sugar Mi cup honey % cup raisins % cup all-purpose flour ft cup firmly packed brown sugar Vi teaspoon salt Vi teaspoon cinnamon Vi cup butter Vi cup pecan halves Combine fruit with lemon juice, sugar, honey and raisins in 2-quart clear heat-resistant glass casserole. Combine flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon and butter in small bowl. Mix with fingers until the mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle crumbs evenly over fruit; top with pecan halves- Bake at 375°F. for 45*55 minutes or uatil bubbly and brown. Place cover on casserole and place in fabric carrier. When ready to serve, serve as is, or top with fresh fruit, whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Serves 6 to 8. Note: Three cans (29-oz. each) cling peaches, well drained, can be substituted for the fresh fruit.
