WALZ-TELEVISION WRITER TV blondes do have more fun New York--All of you "Dynasty" lovers out there can breathe a sigh of relief now that the ABC prime- time soap has returned to the schedule. By the way, its new time slot on Wednesday nights will be a permanent one, since the network intends to show the new episodes in that very same position in the fall. My favorite character on the show? Why Krystle Carrington, as played by the gorgeous Linda Evans, of course! Jenilee Harrison is shaping up for her new rote on ABC's "Three's Com pany." "Dynasty's" gorgeous Linda Evans has returned. In case you missed it, CBS for mally announced that they will lense a new Suzanne Somers series with 13 shows to be developed through Tandem Productions. Su zanne's husband, Alan Hamel, will serve as an executive producer on the projected sit-com. If you're wondering what's going to happen to Jenilee Harrison (Cin dy Snow) now that the producers of "Three's Company" have hired another blonde, Priscilla Barnes, to replace Suzanne Somers, here is the way her character will be re deployed. In the season opener (a one-hour special), Cindy gives Jack and Janet notice that she has been accepted as an on-campus student at UCLA studying veterinary scien ces. She'll live in the campus dor mitory but will be popping in and out of her old apartment from time to time just to keep Jack and Janet on their toes. So now everybody's happy because it sounds like Jenilee may eventually get a show of her own if the producers can find some wacky dorm mates for Cindy Snow. Let me tell you a little secret. Even though everybody is back at work in Tinseltown, some series are so far behind in development thatold pro grams which were canceled even before they hit the airwaves will be dusted off and beamed during September. A case in point--NBC's "Fitz and Bones," headlining the Smothers Brothers as a wacky TV news crew, is in contention for a spot on the network's September schedule. Trivia Notes--NBC is the only net work that does not have a series with a Hawaiian locale. CBS has "Magnum, P.I." while ABC's "Fan tasy Island" films on location in the Hawaiian Isles from time to time ..[. Los Angeles and New York re main the most popular background cities on network series telecasts. San Francisco is gaining ground with "Too Close for Comfort," "Shannon" and "Mr. Merlin" ... "M'A'S'H" is the only regular prime-time series that takes place outside the USA. TV COaWLOQ MRVtCtt. INC.
