August 25 th FULL DAY Marian Central Catholic High School Monday, August 31st EARLY DISMISSAL Edgebrook Elementary School Harrison School Hilltop Elementary School James Bush Elementary School Johnsburg Junior High School Johnsburg High School Johnsburg Middle School Landmark Elementary School McHenry High School East Campus West Campus McHenry Junior High School Montini Catholic School Middle Primary Parkland Junior High School Ringwood Elementary School St John's School Valley View Elementary School NEWS FROM McHENRY SCHOOL DISTRICT 15 The first day of classes for students will be Monday, August 31st, for those in grades 1-8. Kindergarten students will use this day as a visitation day at Land­ mark School with their parents. Kindergarten students are asked to visit during the session to which they are assigned. Bus Service will be in operation only for students in grades 1- 8 on August 31st, which is an early dismissal day. Regular, full day classes will begin on Tuesday, September 1st, with cafeterias being open on that day. New teachers will par­ ticipate in an orientation-, workshop day on August 26th, while teachers returning to District No. 15 will attend institute ac­ tivities on August 27th and 28th. WE'RE BETTER EDUCATED Nearly seven of 10 adult Americans, the Census Bu­ reau reports, have graduat­ ed from high school and nearly half of these have had at least a year of college. Three in 20 Americans have had four years of college.
