Open House For Preschool Joyful Noise Christian pre­ school has announced an open house Friday, Sept. 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. This is described as an excellent opportunity for interested parents and children to view the pre-school setting and meet the staff. The school has an average of 19 children and three teachers per class The profession staff includes a director-teacher, Janice Kalvaitis; and two teachers, Wynne Roy and Faythe Scott. Jan Kalvaitis has a B.S in H o m e - E c o n o m i c s Education. She taught Home Economics, including child care for five years, at Thornridge high school. She has taught at both day care centers and nursery schools. Wynne Roy has a B.A. in psychology and has taken graduate work in Library Science. She taught kin­ dergarten for five years and has worked as a school librarian and learning center director. Faythe Scott graduated from McHenry County college and has an Associate of Applied Science in Child Care degree. She graduated with high honors. Ms. Scott is the mother of five and grand­ mother of 10. Her experience includes day care centers"as well as pre-schools.
