Kline of 2617 Myang avenue, McHenry, has completed recruit training at the Naval Training center, Orlando, Fla. During the eight-week training cycle, trainees studied general military subjects designed to prepare them for further academic and on-the-job training in one of the Navy's 85 basic occupational fields. Included in their studies were seamanship, close order drill, Naval history and first aid. A 1981 • graduate of McHenry East campus high school, she joined the Navy in December, 1980, under the delayed entry program. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m., worship services are at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. CPR Class Is Offered Memorial hospital at Woodstock offers its next public cardiopulmonary resuscitation class Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 7-11 p.m. at the hospital. An important change in technique has been made during the summer, Mary Ganek, R.N., B.S.N., said today. Mrs. Ganek is director of education at Memorial hospital and can provide further information on the monthly classes, offered the second Tuesday of each month. "During the summer, the Illinois Heart association became the American Heart association, Illinois affiliate, and with the change in name came the updated practice of CPR, based on new research," she said. "The technique is basically the same except for ftfew^hanges which will make CPR even more ef­ ficient. Basic life support, or CPR, requires no special equipment and can be learned by any individual, young or old. CPR can be learned in a four-hour class which consist of discussion and actual practice of the techniques taught by certified in­ structors.
