The Toddles consist of a half hour craft activity followed by a short trail walk to explore for the wild inhabitants at this natural area near the Fox river. This program is great as an introduction for parents and little ones into the sharing of experiences with the natural environment. Birding for beginners is the theme for an 8 a.m. program Thursday, Oct. 1, at Rush Creek conservation area. MCCD Volunteer, Darlene Fiske, will lead this one-hour walk, and will help participants locate and identify the birds of the area. Recommended but not necessary are binoculars and a bird book. Stillhill drive, McHenry Shores, died Monday morning, Sept. 14, in an automobile accident on Route 31, about two miles north of Algonquin. She was born Feb. 12, 1959, in Chicago, the daughter of Leon and Aldona Zelvis of McHenry Shores. Miss Zelvis was a radio dispatcher for the Algonquin Police department. Survivors, in addition to her parents, are six sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Cheryl) Bolek of Cary, Mrs. Jon (Denise) Ringer and Mrs. Robert (Anita) Davy of Morris, 111., Susan A. and Aldonna M. Zelvis of McHenry Shores, and Marilyn R. Zelvis of Woodstock; and a brother LeonC. Zelvis of Annandale, Virginia. Visitation was scheduled from 3 to 9 p.m Tuesday, at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home. Services will be held Wednesday, 10 a m , at the funeral home and burial will be in Holcomb- ville cemetery. Nunda township.
