The village is at tempting to find ways of paying the sewer costs which are not being covered by the monthly rate paid by village residents. The legality of the proposal was questioned by a home owner, who is adamant in her refusal to have the water used from her well, measured by a meter she would have to pay for. This is a serious com munity problem that will affect every home owner and resident in Lakemoor. Unnecessary idling wastes gas. Howev er, there's usually an ex ception to every rule. After a long, high speed trip, it is more economical to allow the engine to idle a few min utes before turning it off. This will help prevent hot fuel vapors from causing a vapor lock that could cause hard starting afterwards. VILLAGE MEETING The Village of Sunnyside held its second meeting of the^nonth Tuesday, Sept. 15 aau one of the main topics of tfpe night was the rezoning hearing of the Cajthamel property on Wilmot road. A number of residents of the S u n n y s i d e B e a c h Homeowners association are concerned as to what will happen to this property. The Zoning board turned down the request for rezoning from R-residential to B 1 business. At the T u e s d a y m e e t i n g Cajthamel's lawyer asked that the petition be with drawn for the present and not presented to the village board at this time. Mr. Nowak, chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals presented the motion to allow the petition to be with drawn. This will allow Cajthamel to redo his petition and come before the zoning board again at some future date. The motion was u n a n i m o u s g r a n t i n g Cajthamel withdrawal of the original petition. At a future date Cajthamel will be able to submit a new petition for consideration by the Zoning Board of Appeals. --. .W«rki>« progressing on the village hall. Help support the band and athletic club by ordering your cheese and sausage when students come around. They need your help and you enjoy a tasty treat. DOGS ON THE LOOSE Complaints are corning in of dogs running loose in the area. The village has a leash law, which means dogs do not run loose. This is also a county law. Certain areas seem to have more dogs running wild. It seems that during the summer months people from outside the area come to the suburbs to dump unwanted pets. Wild dogs can become a big problem. If you see dogs running wild call Animal Control. We don't want any of our children bitten by a stray. Household pets will be picked up, too and there is a fine if the animal is taken to the pound. BIRTHDAYS This week's birthday greetings go to Rich Fredricks who celebrated Sept. 20; Bill Perschke Sept. 21; Barbara Zimbrick Sept. 21; and Jim Eichhorn Sept. 22.
