Sunday, May 13, Steve Kunsweiler of Sunnyside drive and Tim Krodel of Poplar Leaf drive rode in the Multiple Sclerosis Bike-a- thon out of Palatine. The boys each rode 50 miles and raised $150 through pledges from friends, relatives and neighbors. The bike-a-thon is a yearly event and is sponsored by WLS Radio. There is a Crystal Lake route also. It is very well advertised and it is hoped next year more will par­ ticipate and follow the example of Steve and Tim. HOSPITAL STAY Bill Mitchell of 4017 Wilmot road has had a brief stay in the McHenry hospital for some tests.
