It will be open from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 and at 2 p.m., the program will be iven by the Reverend Gene ckore of Crystal Lake, on "Indian Artifacts" of this area. Others are welcome to bring collections and if you wish Reverend La ckore will help you to determine their age. etc. . The last day to visit the museum will be Wednesday, Oct. 28; it will be closed to the public until the first Sunday in May. Folks of Ringwood, think about it and just maybe the people in Ringwood could maybe sponsor a Ringwood day at the museum sometime next summer. They would like for us to do this and I'm sure there are enough of us to make a good showing. If interested, contact either of the above correspondents. BIRTHDAY GREETINGS Birthday greetings were in order for Ila Hogan Monday, Oct. 19. She had 67 candles on her cake and those at the Hogans' for supper to help her celebrate were Charlotte and Dick Thompson and daughter Susie; Pat Parsley and children, Laura, Nancy, Tom. Jim and Jeannie; Tom had lunch with Ila. Georgia and Harry and children, Karie and Jason were there; Jerry and Ruth Ann Hogan and Tom and Flicia; little (?) Mike represented the Mike Hogan family as the rest were home with the flu. Ila says after all these years its still nice for the family to all gather for special occasions and she doesn't mind stating how many candles, too. We hope you nave many more years to add those candles and family gatherings, Ila "Happy Birthday". HAPPY 43RD Sig Jacobsen took his beautiful wife out for dinner last Saturday, Oct 17 to celebrate their forty-third wedding anniversary. Hie actual date is Oct. 22. but Saturday seemed to be a more appropriate time to go out to celebrate. Those also going to make it a festive occasion were John and Ha Hogan. and their daughter Sue, hubby Mike and grandchildren. A good time was had by all. We do hope that Slg and Ingaborg have many more years of wedded bliss. TEXAS VISITORS Bev and Chuck Ackerman arrived in the area Tuesday, Oct. 13 and when yours truly saw Bev she said, "I read about the Ringwood church Rummage sale and just had to come to it. Sounds good." Anyway she said that she has missed being here for the rummage sales, etc. She looks good and has a natural looking tan that seems to stay with her all year round. Bev and Chuck stayed with her sister Judy Koeler in McHenry and then sister Cindy McPherson and girls came out from Downers Grove to visit for the weekend. 'Twas a houseful but I'm sure the girls had a ball. Daughter-in-law Carol and Sandson Luke came with •vvand Chuck and they spent their time with Card's parents, the Jerry Corderys of Johnsbur£ I'm sure the Corderys enjoyed having their daughter and grandson home for a few days to get reacquainted. All left for home, Thorndale, Tex., this past Sunday. They missed all those torrential rains we heard so much about. SUNDAY AFTERNOON Sunday afternoon found a houseful at the Walt Lows with Pam and Dan and girls Katie and Robin. Those stopping in were Walt and Alice Mae Wilcox, Sue Madey and kids and Ray and Cindy, Patti and Dan. The girls raided the attic, again. What fun! (It's fun to listen to them when they get started about 'rememf back when'. BIRTHDAYS Birthday greetings go to Geoffrey Sonnemaker, Oct 25; with Oct. 27 being that special day for J. C. Pearson, Kevin Bauer and Marie Mergl. Oct. 28, we find Bill Blllikas (that's my son- in-law, so gotta remember it) and little Joseph Francis Daurio will be adding another candle to their cakes. Oct. 30 is that special day for Barb Hanson and on Oct. 31,. Halloween, we find that Nancy Hardies, Connie Hopp and Cindy Fleming will be another year young. "Happy Birthday" to all of you wonderful people. ANNIVERSARIES Best wishes to Richard and Tina Gorski out there on Ridgeway road, and to Donna and Phil Crocfer way out there in California.
