Members of the United Methodist Youth 'will be carolling Sunday evening, Dec. 20. The meeting time and place will be in next week's column. If you can give some time cm Sunday mornings to help out in .the nursery during worship service, it would be greatly appreciated. TRAVEL NORTHWARD •, Afraid skiers and snowmobilers would have been terribly disappointed if they were looking for snow in ^Marinette county of Wisconsin last weekend. Art and Katy Christopher were . visiting his folks there and , they found only occasional patches of snow-there was just a very light covering in the woods when they went out to cut greens for the holidays. HOME FOR HOLIDAYS „ Seaman Robert Kenny arrived home Wednesday, Dec. 2 to spend the holidays with his family. Robert is spending his time with his father "Buzz" Kenny in Ringwood and with his mother Loretta Kenny in McCullom Lake. After spending the holidays with h)s family Robert will be , reporting back to duty in January and he will be . Stationed in Puerto Rico for three years. Have a happy holiday, Robert, and a safe journey back. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION Birthdays that were celebrated Sunday, Dec. 6, were Pam Kehoe and Scott Miller, whose day is Dec. 8; Dan Kehoe, Dec. 19 and Lee Miller, Dec. 26. Patti Miller served a delicious dinner of ham and salads and all the trimmings. 'Twas potluck so everyone gets a part of the ion. There were 27 it to help the honorees eat that lovely cake topped off with ice cream, (no calories???). Pam and Dan had to cut the day short as Pam was due back to work. Others present were Walt and Alice Mae Wilcox, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Hanson, Sue Madey and children of Woodstock, Bob and Sue Low, Mabel Thomas of McHenry, Tom and Sherry Low of Johnsburg, Ray Low and Cindy and Bob Low of Wonder Lake and of course Ma & Pa Low and Patti and Dan, Lee and Scott of Ringwood.
