"This Week" has two distinct things in its favor--the news update segment and the informal interview ses­ sion with a major figure in the news. Of all the news forum shows that are seen on Sunday, "This Week" has the best media panelists. The lively repartee rotates be­ tween syndicated columnist George Will, Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee and Wall St. Journal diplomatic reporter Karen Elliott House who, at times, comes on a bit too strong. As a whole, "This Week" is a good show, but because of my reservations about David Brinkley, I'm not sure how well the program will do. The ratings will eventually prove Mr. Arledge right or wrong.
