V-' ' Kristine Salman In Washington Program BS Nursing To McHenry Student Kristine Salman, • Millikin university Junior from McHenry, has been accepted to participate in the Washington Semester program at the American university in Washington, D.C., during the spring semester. v The Wsshington Semester program is a cooperative arrangement between Millikin and the American university. To partlcipste in the program, students must petition for admission and are selected by a panel of advisers from both in stitutions. Miss Salman, an art management major, will participate in the arts and humanities program offered through the Washington Semester. While in Washington, Miss Salman will attend classes at the American university, participate in field trips, perform research, attend sTMt special seminars featuring guests speakers from all realms of government and work approximately 25 hours a week in an in ternship . situation with a federal agency. Miss Salman is a 1979 graduate of McHenry high school and th^ daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Salman of 6907 Mason Hill, McHenry.
