PATRICK'S DINNER Corned beef and cabbage will be the main course at a dinner held Sunday, March 21, at Christ the King church hall. Get that green outfit ready, don the shamrock, and join in the fun beginning at 1 p.m. GARDEN CLUB January's meeting found us all "holed in". Weather conditions did not permit woman or beast out! Mrs. Bobbi Fiali and Mrs. Doris Lockerbie served as our gracious hostesses for February. Our program was given by Alice Howenstine, ably assisted by Mr. Sherry Anderson of the McHenry County Defenders. Recycling - Resource reclamation - was the topic for our program. Recycling is reusing paper, cloth, plastic and metal containers whenever possible instead of throwing them away. Collections are made the first and third Saturday of each month at the southeast corner of the Market' Place Shopping center. Newspapers, (which saves our trees), glass, tin or all aluminum cans (pay-back program), oil (65 percent of each gallon of oil can be refined), and cooking fat (animal fat to make soap), are welcomed. Let's think of the now and future without litter. Our next meeting will be Thursday, March 11, 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Ruth Kinzie, 4515 E. Wonder Lake road, Wonder Lake. Again, anyone interested in gardening is most cor dially invited to attend our meetings. B.
