SECTION 6: Whenever any vehicle is operated or parked in violation of the provisions of this Ordinance, the owner or driver of such vehicle shall be deemed guilty of such violation and either the owner or the driver of such vehicle may be prosecuted for sucn violation. SECTION 7: Any person, firm or corporation con­ victed of any violation of this Ordinance shall be fined in an amount equal to two (2) cents per pound for each pound in excess of 1000 pounds, four (4) cents per pound for each pound in excess of 2000 pounds, six (6) cents per pound for each pound in excess of 3000 pounds, eight (8) cents per pound for each pound in excess of 4000 pounds and ten (10) cents per pound for each pound in excess of 5000 pounds and over.
