She was 81 years old. Mrs. Miller was born March 28, 1901, in Spring Grove, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Thelen) Kattner. She was married Oct. 20,1920, in Spring Grove to Joseph E. Miller, who died May 26, 1946. liie Millers farmed in the Richmond area and Mrs. Miller served as bookkeeper for the family farm, for Miller's Corners, and for the Richmond Garage. A member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, Richmond, she served as church organist for many years. Mrs. Miller also was a member of the Altar and Rosary sodality and the Richmond Mothers' club. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Valeria) Arsenau and Mrs. Elizabeth Wirch, both of McHenry, and Mrs. Frank (Bertha) Bergsma of Rich mond; three sons, Conrad and Loren of Richmond, and Harvey of Wayne, Pa.; 32 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Olivia Bauer of McHenry; and three brothers, August Kattner of Chicago, Alfred Kattner of Richmond and Arnold Kattner of Spring Grove. She was preceded in death by three sons, Raymond, Jerome and Joseph Miller, Jr.; also three brothers, Alois and Gregory Kattner and an infant. The funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 Monday, April 12, at St. Joseph's church, Richmond, with Father Thomas Neville officiating. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery, Johnsburg.
