Pack 142 recently honored Tony Nowak of Den 2 for his heroic deed of last Thanksgiving. The young boy exhibited courage in extinguishing a kitchen fire and saved the home from possible disaster. In full agreement that he is worthy of the honor and the trophy he holds is his father, Ray Finney, shown with Tony. STAFF PHOTO-WAYNE GAYLORD BOY SCOUT NEWS Pack 142 Scouts are paying a belated tribute to Tony Nowak for his outstanding bravery in putting out a recent fire in his home. His family had much to be thankful for that day. On behalf of the Boscacci family, Pack 142 will be able to have its paper drive, aluminum can and retur nable bottle drive, April 17 at the Valley View grade school parking lot from 9 to noon. Newspapers only will be taken--no magazines and no cardboard. They must be tied or made secured. The returnable bottles must be particular products. Call me for further information. The truck will be handled by Mr. Boscacci, but we'll need help with loading and delivery. We want this to be a success. If you have any questions, please call the cubmaster.
