The bride wore a white polyester organza gown featuring a point d'esprit bodice with an illusion front and back yoke. The stand-up neckline was embellished with Venise lace. The point d'esprit Bishop sleeves were accented with a lace motif. The full skirt, enhanced with lace, fell from an empire waist and flowed into a-chapel length train. A sister of the bride, Theresa Skelly of Gurnee, 111. was the matron df honor. Bridesmaids were another sister of the bride, Kathleen Whitehead of McHenry; the groom's sisters, Michelle and Dawn Anderson of McHenry ; and friends of the bride, Holly Kuhns of McHenry and Michelle Rothlisberger of Crystal Lake. Attendants were attired in dusty rose, qiana gowns, fashioned with a blouson bodice, featuring a high lace • collar and long sleeves.- The best man was H. George Landholt of McHenry. The bride wore a white p<5y chiffon gown styled with a Queen Anne neckline, trimmed with mushroom pleating, which was repeated on the cuffs of the Bishop sleeves. Venise lace adorned the bodice, cuffs and skirt. Sheer front and back yokes accented the bodice. The circular skirt was edged in Chantilly lace and fell into a chapel length train. White Venise lace lavishly decorated her picture hat, which was further enhanced with seed pearls and Russian veiling. The matron of honor was the bride's sister, Annette Rotharmel of . II A McHenry county teenager, Shari Grewe, pictured above with her co-host Steve Smith of NBC's "Kidding Around" will emcee "Show Diddley", a special children's program being presented in the quaint Woodstock Opera House during the fourteenth annual "Fair Diddley", an arts and crafts country fair in the Woodstock city square May 16, from noon until 5 p.m. The recently formed innovative McHenry Children's Theater grOUp will be featured performers in the show. Entertainment will be one of the key elements of the fourteenth annual "Fair Diddley" scheduled for Sunday, May 16, from noon until 5 p.m The fair, located on the picturesque city square in Woodstock, will combine a delightful afternoon of almost con tinuous entertainment with the talents of over 250 fine artists and craftsmen. The historic Woodstock Opera House will be the scene of "Show Diddley", a special children's program, being presented at 12, 2 and 4pm Shari Grewe, a Crystal Lake resident and co-host of NBC's "Kidding Around ", will encee the show, featuring the talented dancers of Judith Svalander's Ballet school, the beautiful voices of the Larry Lucas Boys Choir, and the McHenry Children's Theater group. Admission is available for a nominal fee. In addition to "Show Diddley", the bandstand in the center of the square will be alive with free entertainment throughout the afternoon. Fairgoers will enjoy relaxing in the park and watching performances by Young Hong Karate institute, the Woodstock high school stage band, the singing and dancing McCormick family, a Mar-Ray gymnastic demonstration and the Strong family bluegrass string band.
