He was bora Jan. 10,1810. in Sidney, la., to Adolphus and Queenie Faire (Pearson) Jordan. A five-year resident of McHenry, formerly of northwest Chicago, Mr. Jordan had been an industrial salesman 29 years, with the Airco Co., Chicago. Swiving are hia wife Evelyn Naperville, (Laweon), whom he married June 4, 1987, in Chicago; two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Marilyn) Salo, McHenry and Mra. Robert (Monica) Simpeon, Dyer, Ind.; a son Richard, Fondulac, Wis.; 14 grandchildren; three great­ grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Nina Baldwin and Mae Driftmier. both of Shenandoah, la. He was preceded in death by a son John, in 1978; and two brothers, Percy and Rex. A funeral blessing will be held in the George R. Jus ten k Son funeral home at 10 a.m. Thursday, officiated by Deacon Richard Rusao of St Patrick'e Catholic church, McHenry, and in­ terment will be in All Saints cemetery, Des Plaines. Visitation will be in the funersl home from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wedneeday. He waa born May 28, 1921, in Cicero, 111., the son of Lawrence and Marguerite (Riordarn) McMahon. Mr. McMahon was a member d Chicago Firemen's Assn. Local 2; a lieutenant with the Chicago firemen 28 years; and had retired from the Wonder Lake Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad On Nov. 18, 1948, in Chicago, he married ' the former Marilyn O'Connell, who survives. Other CLARA NOONAN Clara F. Noonan, 3815 W. street, McHenry, died Saturday, May 8, at Royal Terrace, McHenry. She was 85 years old, born in Chicago Jan. 2, 1897, to Anton and Mary (Spoo) Immekus. / Mrs. Noonfin lived in McHenry about 83 years; had operated the Claire Beauty shop,. McHenry, from 1928 to 1979 and continued to serve some of her regular customers in her home, until her health failed- - She belonged to St. Clara Court 890 Catholic Order d Foresters and Confraternity d Christian Mothers d St. Mary's church. On June 7, 1919, in Chicago, she married Allen E. Noonan, Sr., who passed away March 23, 19W. Surviving are twin sons, Allen, Jr. of Crystal Lake and Anthony E. d McHenry , one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary Ann) Pyles d McHenry; four grandchildren, Toni Sue, Claire and Robert Noonan and Doretta Clark; and one great-grandson, Jason Clark.
