Neumann. Conklin will continue his series of messages based on I Corinthians. The title of the message is "Getting Wise" based on I Corinthians 2:1-13. At the 6 p.m. Bible Fellowship hour the lesson will be from Genesis 4:1-16, "Two Men Who Gave Thanks". Pastor Conklin will also begin teaching a class for new Christians in his study during the 9:30 Sunday school hour. Aicher of this city. The loot, valued at ap­ proximately $100, included gold for dental work and also gold filled bridge work recently completed. Entrance was gained by picking the lock of the door sometime between midnight and Friday morning. The loss was discovered when Dr. Aicher opened his office Friday. He notified Sheriff Lester Edinger, who con­ ducted the investigation. The Christian Mothers of St. Mary's will hold a Jiggs dinner and supper at the church hall on Dec. 11. A venison supper will be served at the McHenry Pleasure club Dec. 3. The Misses Mary Sutton and Anita Bacon entertained a number of friends at the home of the former, honoring their birthdays which oc­ curred within the week. Freund Millstream Park subdivision and adjoining areas attended the council meeting in hopes of bringing to a conclusion the letting of contract for the proposed sanitary sewer in­ stallation. Bids on the improvement were received at the last previous meeting of the Council and held pending deposit of money by property owners in escrow account. Harry Dean, president of the Chamber of Commerce, was present at the Council meeting to again ask for a change that would put parking meters in operation on Friday nights in the Green street and Riverside drive areas. The McHenry County Health department has moved to the new court house, which is across from Northwood school, at 2200 North Seminary avenutf (north Route 47), Woodstock. With figures released in the fiscal year report of three kinds of tax, the Department of Revenue for the state of Illinois in Springfield lists McHenry second high in totals for McHenry county.
