Worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. salt V* tsp. pepper 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese In large mixing bowl, com bine ground beef, Vi cup cracker crumbs, onion, milk. egg, V* cup ketchup, Wor cestershire sauce, salt and pepper; blend thoroughly. Place mixture on large piece of waxed paper. Cover with another piece of waxed pa per and roll out to rectangle about 9x15 inches. Remove top sheet of paper. Combine remaining cracker crumbs and cheese. Sprinkle ovei meat mixture. Beginning with 9-inch side, roll up jelly roll fashion, using waxed paper to help roll. Place in 9 x 53/4 inch loaf pan. Spread remaining V* cup ketchup over top. Bake in preheated 3501 oven 45 to 50 minu tes. Keebler Company School Word Encounters To Benefit MS Research Leonardo Da Vinci could draw with one hand and write with the o t h e r , a l m o s t simultaneously. Area junior high and high school students are not only finding out about multiple sclerosis, but are also learning how to spell it. "Sclerosis" is one of 200 words students are adding to their vocabularies as they prepare for the 1982 MS competition early in December. Word Encounters, a spelling contest for the benefit of multiple sclerosis research and patient services, is expanding this year for the first time to include junior high school students. Savings bonds will be the awards for junior high students while high school students will vie for college scholarships ranging from $250 to S1.000. No local junior high schools are included. One finalist from each of 64 high schools attend semi-finals. Date for the north group is 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Rolling Meadows high school. Fifteen students will then attend finals at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, at York Community high school, Elmhurst. Schools represented at the Dec. 6 semi-finals include McHenry East and West Campuses. Word Encounters participants obtain sponsors to donate a specific sum to MS for each word spelled correctly on a 60-word preliminary spelling test given at their school to determine which students qualify for the semi-finals. Kiwanis Honors Senior Student Darren Cepulis, a senior at West campus, was honored recently, at the Kiwanis club meeting as the out standing student of the month. Darren was honored for helping Sister Renee, from Marian Central high school, in programming the computer and the development of the schedules of Marian students. At McHenry high school, Darren has been involved in several school activities including, cross country, swimming and water polo, where he has earned major letters. He was also elected to the National Honor society as a junior. Each month Kiwanis honors out standing seniors from McHenry high school. Anyone who knows of any outstanding accomplishments by McHenry high school seniors, are asked to contact Bill Dodds, Award committee chairman, at McHenry high school East campus. PLAY AUDITIONS P.M. & L. Theatre in Antioch an nounces its auditions for its next production, Morning's At Seven. This 1980 Tony award winning comedy by Paul Osbourne will be directed by Tom Hausman. Tryouls will be held at the theatre located at 877 Main street in Antioch Sunday and Monday, Dec. 5 and 6, from 7:30 to 9:30 each night. A cast of four mature women and three mature men plus a loving couple in their mid to upper thirties is needed for this show.
