And, if you're cook­ ing a meal that can be frozen, cook twice as much as you need. It will not take twice as long to prepare. • Using disposable alumi­ num cookware -- and then washing it instead of throwing it away. Solution: Throw it away. Treat yourself to this luxury, especially if you are cooking for company. • Not delegating jobs. Here is one example: sorting socks. Solution: If each mem­ ber of the family stores socks for the laundry in a mesh bag, socks are laundered already sorted.
