At Thanksgiving time, they were making apple,, pies and apple juice to develojrdomeslic skills. They had a service project^ November making Christmas ornaments for their school and for the Ladies' Guild of St. Patrick's church. In January, members participated in a demonstration of artificial resuscitation presented by Mrs. Shirley Koch. The most recent project is a visit to Poltermann Transfers where they will see how transfers are placed on garments. It sounds like these little girls are having an interesting learning ex perience. The hearing will be held before the McHenry County Zoning Board of Appeals upon the petition of Francis M. Schmitt, Laura Schmitt and James Stavros for an amendment of the provisions of the McHenry County Zoning Ordinance to reclassify the folldwing described real estate as B-3 under the /erms of the Real Estate Facts Today's market is particularly favorable for both home buyers and sellers. Although this message is far from >xiew, today's economic climate makes taking prompt action more ad vantageous than ever before. The reason behind the new urgency is the emergence of a "window" on the real estate scene. In the real estate business, a "window" is a period of time when interest rates have come down and prices have not increased very much. The term "window" is used because this situation is not expected to last very long - perhaps four to six months at most. The drop in mortgage interest rates is considered temporary because the economic recovery has -not as yet taken hold, and the nation remains in a recession. When the recovery finally does take hold, perhaps early or mid-1983, business and consumers will begin borrowing more, driving mortgage interest rates up once again. In addition, combination of lower mortgage interest rates, rising household income and a slower rate of home price appreciation is making home ownership more affordable this fall than it was earlier this year, according to a recent comparative A lot of people are writing, wiring and calling their legislators protesting regulations that could prevent America's growers from using the crop protection chemicals they; need. Without those chemicals, scientists say, we could lose half our crops every year. Save $100 * in cash and accessories! If you have at least 2-5 teeth left you have several options before resorting to plates. ' • Maryland Bridges-are fixed bridges that require few shots and little tooth reduction and short appointment times. The cost is slightly more thaadentures but the service provided to the patient is well worth the slightly higher cost. 2. Overdentures-are dentures that" fit over existing roots even if the teeth were originally starting to loosen from gun disease. This keeps the necessary remaining dental ridge and greatly improves the function and fit of your dentures. 3. Precision Partials-are partial dentures which by means of an attachment" snap onto or into existing crowns. 4. Any combination of the the above can be con sidered an alternative to dentures.
