Jack Scalia's "Devlin Connec­ tion" was axed by NBC, he's been rehired by ABC for its limited-run "High Performance" series. The show, an adventure series about the world of pro auto racing, also stars Lisa Hartman, who will shuttle back and forth from her work on CBS' "Knots Landing." ABC is also scheduled to air "Condo," a contempo­ rary look at swinging couples in a Southern California condominium. The sitcom, from the same producers who gave us "Soap," features McLean Stevenson, Yvonne Wilder, Brooke Alderson and Louise Avalos.. Also headed for airing on ABC is "Ryan's 4," a hospital drama starring Tom Skerritt.. TELE-FUCKS -- Now that Tony Geary has taken a brief hiatus from "General Hospital," ABC will keep him busy as the star of "Love Sick, the Herpes Story," a drama about the disease afflicting 20 million Americans. Tony's female co-star-will be Cindy Fisher ("Liar's Moon"). Production will be completed shortly for a spring airing. TELE-QUIPS -- Peter Barton, star of NBC's "Pow­ ers of Matthew Star," claims to have had many ESP xperiences. But he says they were only "the most unsophisticated kind, like knowing when the phone, is going to ring." On the series, Barton portrays an alien with ESP who comes to Earth. FUTURE FILE -- CBS is stocking up with many made-for-TV films that will be aired sometime during the next year. Projects include "Rita >4ayworth: Love Goddess," about the 1940s actres^Night Partner," the story of two women who formi a crisis unit; "Survivors," the story of a builcKnp jng/pector who falls for a social worker. Also: "Carpool," which tells the story of some people who share a ride every day and become involved in a mix-up involving millions of dollars; ' China Rose," star­ ring Ali MacGraw and George C.
