Feldt was knifed to death in his home in August and Ms. Barter was beaten to death Jan. 28 in her Madison street home, where 15-year-old Julie Kim was seriously injured in the attack. Barter was pronounced dead at Memorial hospital, Woodstock, and Kim was transported by helicopter to St. Anthony hospital, Rockford, where she is listed in good condition Monday. Honning of McHenry died Monday, Feb. 7, at McHenry hospital. She was 85 years old, born in Sweden Feb. 10, 1897, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Erickson) Hultman. Mrs. Honning lived in McHenry about 10 years, having come from Chicago. She had been a member and also was an officer of the McHenry Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Surviving/are one daughter, Mrs. James (Myrtle) Seibt of Calumet Park, 111/; a son Eugene of McHenry ; 10 grandchildren; 10 great­ grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Selma Johnson of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and a brother Simon Hultman of Sweden. She was preceded in death by her husband Albin Honning in 1968; and a daughter, Doris Week. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church, McHenry, with Pastor Roger W. Schneider officiating and burial in Oak Hill cemetery, Chicago. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home. Memorial contributions would be appreciated to Shepherd of the Hills church or the McHenry Area Rescue Squad. JACQUELINE SZURA Jacqueline A. Szura, 53, of McHenry, died Friday, Feb. 4, at McHenry hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1929, in Chicago, the daughter of Walter and Agnes (Krol) Szura. Ms. Szura had been a resident of the Fox Lake and McHenry area since 1947 and was employed at Rae Motors for 15 years, as a supervisor. Survivors are her mother, Agnes Szura of McHenry; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Charlotte) Kanabay of Chicago and Mrs. John (Delores) Kory of Fox Lake; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Grace Szura West and Mrs. Lillian Szura, both of Chicago; a great-aunt and many nieces and nephews. Her father Walter and two brothers, Stanley and Henry preceded her in death. A Funeral Mass was offered at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. John the Baptist Catholic '•hurch, Johnsburg, with Father Mathias Rauen officiating and interment in Fox Lake cemetery. Visitation was from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday with a Christian Wake ser­ vice at 8, at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home. The family requests memorial Masses in her name. JANE ZIMMANCK Jane Zimmanck, 70, of Leucadia, Calif., formerly of McHenry, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, in Leucadia. Mrs. Zimmanck is survived by her husband Lincoln, whom she married 30 years ago; three daughters, Arlene Mattioli and Lynette Triere, both of Leucadia and Deana Cramer of Colorado; a son Lincoln of Los Angeles; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are four sisters, Ann Skibbins of Los Angeles, Wanda Mannigan of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Rose Splitt and Betty Floeter, both of Chicago. Karen Kantlehner, daugher of Lester and Carol Kantlehner, 9415 Winn road, Richmond, has been named 1983 Illinois Lamb and Wool queen. As queen, Karen will be an official representative of the Illinois Lamb and Wool Producers organization. The contest finals were held at the annual Sheepman's Holiday and Symposium in Springfield. Girl Scouts Hold Nickel Day Fair The Hopi Neighborhood Girl Scouts will hold their annual Nickel Day Fair Feb. 19, from 10 to 2 p.m. at the Johnsburg Junior high school, 2117 W. Church The theme for this year's fair is states. Cadette, Girl Scout and Brownie troops from Johnsburg, McHenry, Pistakee Highlands, Rich­ mond, Spring Grove and Wonder Lake will be selling crafts, food and having games pertaining to the state they have chosen. All items will be offered for a nickel or a dime. Everyone is invited and girls thinking about joining Girl Scouts are urged to attend to see some of the things Scouts in this area are doing. Hopi Neighborhood consists of 525 scouts in 28 troops. They c.re just a small part of the Sybaquay Girl Scout council. HEALTH WORKSHOP Maintaining a healthier lifestyle is the theme of a two-session workshop called "Managing Stress and Your Health" to be presented by the McHenry County Farm Bureau Women's committee. The programs, set for Feb. 17 and Feb. 24 at the McHenry County Farm Bureau building in Woodstock, start at 7 p.m. Participation in both sessions is helpful and both husbands and wives are urged to participate, says Mrs. Leona Luerssen, chairman. Registration is available by calling the Farm Bureau. EMPLOYMENT SURVEY Local representatives of the Bureau of the Census will conduct a survey of employment in this area during the work week of Feb. 14-19,1983, Stanley D. Moore, acting director of the Bureau's Regional office in Chicago has announced. The survey is con­ ducted for the U.S. Department of Labor in a scientifically designed sample of approximately 71,000 households throughout the United States. Employment and unem­ ployment statistics based on results of this survey are used to provide a continuing measure of the economic health of the nation. Teen Pregnancy Although births to North Carolina teenagers have de­ clined, the teenage pregnan­ cy rate remains high. Among girls 15 to 19 years old, 96 of every 1,000 had a legal abor­ tion, still birth or live birth during 1980. Altogether, 25,429 teenage pregnancies were reported; 38 percent ended in abortions.
