By Kate Woods Will Cindy Williams ever return to "Laverne and Shirley" this season? The show isn't the same without her. -- H.O. Cindy and her lawyers would be pleased to know you feel that way. Nonethe less, it doesn't look good for a reconciliation. In fact, now Penny Marshall is talk ing about taking a walk from the show at the end of this season. Maybe then Miss Williams will go back. HOOD-WINKED -- Please tell me who played Robin Hood in the Walt Disney movie -- not the cartoon, a live-action version. My brother says there never was such a picture, but I know better. -- C.F. British actor Richard Todd led the Merrie Men in "The Story of Robin Hood," produced by Dis ney in 1952. It was also the first telling of the tale that was actually filmed in Sher wood Forest. Disney didn't come up with the animated version until 1973. ON THE HILL -- I have some more information on "Hill Street Blues" that your readers might be interested in. Now that we know the open ing shots are from Chica go, such as the Maxwell St. stationhouse, I can tell you that the street names used on the show are all names of streets in Buffalo, N.Y., including Hill Street. -- S.D. I was even interested to Cindy Williams hear that. Checking further it seems that series co-cre ator and writer, Michael Kozoll, is a native Buffaloni- an, who is borrowing from his roots. NICK'S KNACK -- I can't find anyone who has ever heard of this show, but didn't Nick Adams play a newspaper reporter in a TV series sometime after "The Rebel"? -- N.H. You're not imagining things. The late actor played crusading journalist Nick Alexander in "Saints and Sinners," a short-lived NBC series that premiered in 1962, a season- after "The Rebel" had stopped wandering the West. It was set at the New York Record, which ABC had used as a setting for "The Roaring Twenties" a year before.
