FACE § - PLALNDEALER - WEDNESDAY. MARCHS, 1983 SUNNYSIDE AREA Betty Messer 344-2494 Full Agenda At Village Meeting The village held its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Mar. 1, at the village hall Discussed was the possibility of residents needing permits to hold garage sales this year. This would put a minimum of two weeks in which an individual could hold a garage sale. Work on the 1983-84 budget is moving along \ The Municipal League monthly meeting hosted by Sunnyside at a local restaurant was received well by members who attended. Dinner was excellent and the guest speaker chose a subject of interest to all. Resurfacing of Wilmot road this year was a main topic of our meeting. The village has already been given a grant through a FAU project that Mayor Bill Mitchell and road Com missioner Greg Nowak have been working together on They've been attending meetings for some time Thus the full expense of this costly project will not fall solely on the village. Randy Ballinger of the Johns burg Library District was in attendance to explain taxing of libraries tp the board and residents present at the meeting. On the Apr. 12 ballot there will be a referendum to vote to either keep the library or not. If the referendum fails to pass, the Johnsburg Library will close its doors at the end of June. There must be a majority vote in favor from both Sunnyside and in the unincorporated areas of the district for the library to pass. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the village will be held Tuesday, Mar. 15.
