Walz TUBE PILOT FEVER -- Now' that the major networks have indicated that they'll be spending extra money on first- run summer programming, the rush is on to see which producers get a crack at the prime-time game. In pro duction for ABC is "Lottery," a 90-minute pilot that details what happens to three people after they win huge sums of money. Ben Murphy ("Winds of War") and Marshall Colt headline as the people in charqe of the lottery. CBS is looking at a pilot script based on the movie "Diner." Meanwhile, ABC is also taking a close look at a World War II adventure saga about an ace pilot named "Jack Nash." The show would star Peter Strauss. TELE-FUCKS -- NBC will try to scare the living day lights out of you when it presents "Special Bulletin" later this year. The movie will look exactly like an evening newscast with an anchorman to be played by Ed Fland ers and an anchorwoman to be played by Gail Strick land. They'll take you live to Charleston, S.C., where antinuclear terrorists are threatening to blow the city to kingdom-come. Orson Welles might be proud of this thriller, which is reminiscent of radio's "War of the Worlds." Yvette Mimieux and Diana^Canova have signed on for CBS' "Night Performers" TV-movie about two wom en who form a volunteer advocacy program, designed to help crime victims, EPICS -- Columbia Pics-TV has gotten the go-ahead from CBS to produce Robert Louis Stevenson's "Mas ter of Ballantrae" as a three-hour production. The novel of romance and tragedy, which was published in 1889, tells the story of the Stuart uprising in Scotland in 1745. Filming won't begin before June. RUMOR5 -- Now that "Winds of War" blew away its competition, rumors are swirling that author Herman Wouk will offer his sequel "War and Rememberance" to ABC. He'll supposedly ask for a much heftier sum. If and when the deal comes to fruition, don't expect to see the miniseries before 1985 at the earliest. Ali MacGraw has indicated that she won't play Natalie Jastrow in the sequel. @1983 Compulog funny sex tale about love and re venge. Lynn Lowry, Mary Woronov.
