She was born in Chicago Sept. 27,1907. Mrs. Slaks had been a member of Faith Presbyterian church, McHenry. Surviving are her husband Carl R. Slaks of Ingleside; two sons, Carl F. of Elgin, 111. and Kenneth of Danville, Calif.; three grand­ sons; two grand­ daughters; two nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by five brothers; Fred, John, Joseph, Edward and Louis Prell. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, at Faith Presbyterian church, 2107 W. Lincoln, McHenry, with Dr. Eric J. Snyder officiating and interment in the Highland Memorial P a r k c e m e t e r y , Libertyville. MARGARET NEIL Margaret L. Neil of Woodstock died Mon­ day, April 18, at the University of Illinois hospital, Chicago. She was 69 years old, born in Chicago Jan. 13, 1914, the daughter of John a n d K a t h e r i n e (Holleran) Hepnessy. Mrs. Neil lived in Wonder Lake from 1966 to 1977, when she moved to Woodstock. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Carol) Solare- of Wonder ..Lake; one • ' grandson, Scott Solare1 of Wonder Lake; and a sister, Beatrice Hen- nessy of Waukegan, 111.
