Lord, 63, of 5019 Pistakee drive, McHenry, died Monday, May 16 in McHenry hospital. He was born Nov. 13,1919, in Dublin, Ireland, to Richard and Olive (Day) Lord. A resident of the area 22 years, Mr. Lord was a member of the Lutheran Church of All Saints, Fox Lake and the D.A.V., Chicago; was an Army veteran of WW II; and had been employed wi th M.M. Mars Co . , Chicago for 34 years, the last 12 as a supervisor. On Dec. 29, i950, in Chicago, he married the former Evelyn Wickenkamp, who survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Carlos (Gerri) Diaz of Mexico City, Mex., Karen Ziffra of Chicago, Mrs. Alfred '(Linda) Julian of Kenosha, Wis. and Vicki Lord of McHenry; two sons, William of Park City, 111. and Charles of Cicero, 111.; 10 grand­ children and two great-grandchildren. Other survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Paul (Margaret) Igelman of Oak Park and Mrs. George (Dolly) Clements of Druce Lake, 111. He was pireceded in death by his parents and a brother Fred. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Wednesday in the George R. Justen & Son funeral home. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lutheran Church of All Saints, with the Rev. Joseph Hughes officiating, and interment in Woodland cemetery. Memorials are requested to the church or the Johnsburg Rescue Squad. GEORGE SHELTON George E. Shelton of McHenry died Saturday, May 14, at McHenry hospital. He was 62 years old, born in Caseville, Mich. Feb. 21,1921, the son of Edgar and Coza (McCrea) Shelton. Mr. Shelton lived in the McHenry area 26 years, having come from Florida, and he was an electrician Modine Mfg. Co., Ringwood. In 1962 Now A hearing Aid McHcnry M5-7M1 he had retired as a chief warrant officer from the U.S. Navy Submarine service. He entered the service in 1942 and one of the ships he served on was the USS Mingo. He completed five successful war patrols among the Japanese in the western Pacific during WW II. Surviving are his wife Esther (Carlson) whom he married Nov. 21,- 1951, at Key West, Fla.; one son George Bradford Shelton of, Louisville, Ky.; a brother Harold Shelton of Wormer Lake, Mich, and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Mary Ellen) Andrews of Drayton Plains, Mich. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home, with Pastor Roger Schneider of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church of­ ficiating, and burial will be on Mon­ day at Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va. He was born Oct. 29, 1919, in Minnesota. A resident of McHenry township over 22 years, formerly of the north side of Chicago, Mr. DoZois Was a truck driver the past 28 years, for Universal Delivery Co. and had been a member of Union 705. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Helen Hansen and Dorothy Fincth. Survivors are his wife Mary Ellen (Lawrence) of Cleveland, Ohio, whom he married May 22,1953, in Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Betty Lou) Knabe of Pontiac, Mich.; one grand­ child; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Groo; and two brothers, Phillip DoZois of California and Arthur DoZois of Minneapolis, Minn. Funeral services were held at noon Monday with the Rev. 'Roger Schneider of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran church officiating and in­ terment was private. Visitation was Sunday at the George R.
