' 0, . • Sets Dinner-Dance Tickets for the annual Richmond- Burton Community High School Alumni Association Dinner-Dance are now available for all RBCHS alumni and guests who wish to attend the function slated for Saturday, July 9. They may be obtained from Mrs. David (Cindy) Gardner or purchased over the counter at the bank or pharmacy in Richmond. Andre's Steak House, Richmond, will host the reunion with a cocktail hour beginning at 6:30 p.m., dinner at 7:30, and dancing at 9:30. This year, alumni will honor the class of 1983, the class of 1958 (for their twenty-fifth anniversary) and the class of 1933 (for their fiftieth anniversary. This year's officers are attempting to get many of the teachers (past and present) to attend. Any alumni who would like to have a formal invitation sent to a specific teacher is urged to please contact one of the officers. The deadline for obtaining tickets is July 1. Arrests Break Burglary Ring Thirteen residential and six com­ mercial burglaries, in addition to 47 thefts were reportedly solved at the close Sunday of a two-month in­ vestigation by sheriffs detectives. Sheriff Hank Nulle said that results of the investigation led to the arrest of five juveniles and a McHenry youth, Arthur J. Keevil Jr., 17, of 1016 S. Lily Lake road, with six additional of­ fenders being sought. The probes centered on incidents in the rural McHenry-Crystal Lake areas and, according to Nulle, $6,000 of stolen property including guns, stereo equipment, tools and racing bicycles has been recovered. Investigate Area 'Robbery' SHAW MEDIA NEWS URV1CE * Crystal Lake police today are in­ vestigating a Tuesday nfght incident which initially was reported as an armed robbery after two men stole a box containing about $7,000 from a United Parcel Service vehicle. Detective Sgt. Keith Nygren said today the incident is being in- 1 vestigated as a burglary and aggravated assault. He said the incident occurred about 9:45 p.m. when the two offenders broke into the rear of the UPS truck at the UPS plant on Commerce Drive and took the money box which reportedly contained about $7,000. Nygren said one of the UPS drivers gave chase and thought he heard a shot. "Naturally, the driver laid on the ground for a while," the detective said. Meanwhile, the offenders escaped. He said no gun was found. Nygren said police had a sketchy description of the two men from the route drivers. They were described as two males of average build and height, he said. Nurse Assistant Title For 12 Twelve students from District 156 celebrate the completion of their Basic Nurse Assistant Program Friday, May 27, at 8:30 in the morning at East campus. This state approved program was developed by Mrs. Muriel Jannotta, the school nurse and health careers instructor at East campus.
