Miss Zeman boasted every where she had only been convinced .to rejoin the show because she was promised a major story line -- as well as a huge annual salary, rumored to be $300,000. For the first part of the year, however, Bobbie's story line amounted to nothing more than holding the hand and drying the tears of her brother's, Luke Spencer (Tony Geary), pregnant "widow," Holly Sutton (EmmaSamms). But behind the scenes during those fallow months. "GH" casting director Mar vin Paige and executive producer Gloria Monty were searching for an actor to play the volatile Bobbie's love interest in her promised "major story line." Using the same instincts that made "GH" a top- rated show, they chose David Groh, best known for his role of Joe Girard. Brock is the perfect mate for the feisty ex-hooker Bobbie, who was also born on the wrong side of the tracks, and who is every bit as multifaceted as her new love interest. Brooklyn-born Groh admits that he has never watched "GH" or any other soap before taking on his role. "I've done nighttime, but it is certainly not a step down. I reasoned some thing must be wonderful about a show that is No. t.
