They were helped by a 12 strikeout performance by winning pitcher Adam Lazar. Mike Bunting and Richard Stark hit triples for the Orioles and Mike Heffner hit a double. Brian Withrow, Gary Schmitt, Jamie Shaver and Terry Kern all had doubles for the Falcons. Blue Jays 19 Eagles 13: The Blue Jays pulled out a 40 walks marathon which ended in the fourth inning. Shooting a gross 92 Nell Fidler took Ipw net of 71 in class A -r and that from a gal who's been sporting a sling qn her arm most of the spring! One stroke behind in the same class was Evie Castle with a net 72. Nell tied with Carol Cooney for low putts of 29. In class B, a magnificent net of 67 was shot by Kathy Lundquist with "Sparkle" Floss Miller close on her heels with 68. Kathy also had low putts of 29. In class C low net of the day, 63, was shot by Joy Rossman, while a close 65 was scored by Linda Puccio. Linda and Fran Herrmann tied for low putts of 29 in the same class. Twenty-nine seems to be the magic number. * r.( In class D, a tie for low net of 76 . each was shot by Speedy Neuman and Shirley Nye while Ardis Miller, with .one shot off, netted 77. In the same class, Marcie Wakitsch low-putted 'yrith 34. Mat Murphy was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts. Cardinals 17 Eagles 10: The Car­ dinals remain unbeaten with the win. Bob Diedrich led the Cardinals with three hits and two doubles. Mark Van Liere, Wayne Markgraff and Chris Ahven all had doubles for the winners. Diedrich was the winning pitcher with five strikeouts and only allowing three hits. Eileen Douglas was a perfect four for four, with one double and a triple. Michelle Stout and Amy Stolle also had doubles, while Kasandra Weiler hit a triple. Tiffany Miller had three hits for McHenry Favorite Sport. Cathy Kline and Shelly Sauer had doubles. Weiller was the winning pitcher, with nine strikeouts. Lead-Off Homer Sparks; Old Bridge McHenry S&L 16 Pete's Girls 5: Cindy Maunangel and Kim Belzer each slammed two homeruns for McHenry S&L in the first inning. Jenny Acred was the winning pitcher, allowing only two hits and two walks. McHenry S&L 24 Don's Dairy Frost 11: McHenry S&L broke away from a 10-10 in the fifth inning with three runs. Catcher Jan Gaines led McHenry S&L in hitting with four in five at bats. Cindy Maunangel and Kim Belzer homered. Belzer was also was the winning pitcher. McHenry S&L 6 Otto's Girls 1: McHenry S&L broke a 1-1 tie with one run in the fourth inning. Kim Belzer was the winning pitcher, holding Otto's to just two hits and striking out 11. Jan Gaines and Jenny Acred both hit triples. JUNIORS McHenry Home Maintenance 28 Party Makers Cat 8: Jill Lang and Carlee Casperson each went three for three for Home Maintence. Jill Lang scored three times and Casperson twice. Casperson hit a double and a triple. Jennie Arient and Dana Diedrich had two hits each for Party Makers. One of Arient's hits was a triple. Amy Savers was the winning pitcher with nine strikeouts and three walks. McHenry Home Maintenance 43 Lockers Flowers 12: Karen Hiller and Erin Boland had five hits each for the winners. Maintenance hit a total of nine homeruns. Amy Saver led with three, Sandie Simon two, Karen Hiller two, Barbie Martin one and Erin Boland one. Mary Etheridge was three for three for Lockers. Simon was the winning pitcher. McHenry State Bank 16 Lockers Flowers 15: Katie Fox hit a grand slam in the sixth inning to win the game for McHenry State Bank. Cheryl Kurowski was four for four for the winners with one double and Billie Jean Van Cleave also had a double. Carrie Pottgetter went four for four with four runs scored and two rbi's to lead Locker's Flowers. Mary Ethridge hit a double and triple. Cheryl Kurowski came in relief to win the game. McHenry State Bank 14 Wally's Bike Haven 9: Katie Fox went three for three at the plate, including four rbi's, two homeruns and a triple to lead McHenry State Bank Tuesday. Cheryl Karowski also was three for three, with two rbi's and a double. Sandi Ann Kessler doubled and Genevieve Lynott tripled for the winners. Billie Jean Cleave was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts. Dawn Murphy went three for three for Wally's Bike Haven, knocking in three runs, one homer and two doubles. Brian Johnson came in relief in the seventh inning to win the game. Chris Landis pitched the first six innings for the Orioles, allowing only four hits and striking out six. Falcons 16 Condors 6: Matt Martin had two hits and Pat Torkelson tripled for the winners last week Thursday. Mike Weber doubled for the Condors. MINOR Cardinals 11 Hawks 10: The Car­ dinals out-scored the Hawks 2-1 in the extra seventh inning to break a 9-9 tie and win. Joe Kinnerk led the Cards in hitting with three hits, one of which was a homerun and one a triple. He also knocked in three runs. Mike Ann Larkin lead off the first inning with a homerun to spark Old Bridge to a 9-2 victory over Sullivan Foods- Prairie State Bank. Danna De Ciccio led Old Bridge hitters going four for four, including a triple. Julie Larkin stopped a rally by Sullivan Foods in the bottom of the fifth in­ ning making a shoe­ string catch. Chris Ludwig was the winning pitcher, with ' one strikeout and no walks. Fritzsche's 8 * Palace Bowl 2 Fritzsche's recorded 22 hits. Betty Du' Beau paced the hitting attack with four hits. Dawn Lamenka, Dawn Suchor and Pam Ullrich all had three hits, including a three run homer by Ullrich. Oak Park 13 Greg's Never Inn 0 Nancy Glick ana Cindy Holtdorf com­ bined to pitch a two- hitter. Oak Park was led by Glick who went three for three with three rbi's and Cathy Carpenter went three for four with a triple and three runs scored.
