Parks t Recreation "eol'h TAg'ncy • Board To Meet Childrens Outdoor Theatre The City of McHenry Department of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring its third Children's Outdoor theatre for the summer at Pearl street park Tuesday, July 5. The movies are free to the public and will begin at dusk. This week's movie is "The Computer Who Wore Tennis Shoes". , '. 'j-y ' Bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy an evening under the stars. Concessions will be available at the park. Kids Campout The Department of Parks & Recreation is holding a Kids campout at Petersen park Thursday, June 30. In case of rain, they will camp out Thursday, July 1, instead. Campers ages 9 to 15 are invited to spend a night under the stars. Par ticipants must supply their own tents and sleeping bags. They will have an evening snack while they sit around the campfire. Sign up for this campout at city hall immediately. Health System Agency for and McHenry Counties, Inc. IlKff-KLM) is announcing its regular board of directors meeting, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 30. The meeting will be held at the JESA-KLM office, 188 South Northwest Highway, Cary. The agenda for the evening will include consideration of bylaws revisions. Information on other agenda items can be obtained by calling the office prior to the mefeting. SWIMMING SAFETY Swimming in and relaxing near water are popular summertime ac tivities, but they can be dangerous if you don't use caution. The National Safety Council says that you should never swim alone, and that if you have " small children with you, they should be checked frequently. Always wear a life preserver or personal flotation device when you're in a boat. Remember that drinking alcholic beverages and driving a boat do not mix.
