Some 1.7 billion were sold last year. DEATHS LEONARD GRETZA Leonard J. Gretza of Whispering Oaks, McHenry, died Thur­ sday, July 7, at McHenry hospital. He was 75 years old, born in Chicago July 2,1906, the son of Joseph and Josephine Gretza. Mr. Gretza lived in • McHenry about 11 years, having come from Chicago. He was a retired assistant sales manager for farm implements at Mon­ tgomery Ward Co. in Chicago. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Sarah ( M a r t e n s ) ; t w o daughters, Joanne Gretza of McHenry and Mrs. Richard (Louise) Lawrenz of Palatine, 111.; one son Earl of Wood Dale, 111.; and five grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of St. Mary of the Assumption, McHenry, with burial in MaryhUl cemetery, Niles, 111. Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Peter M. Justen & Son funeral home. HELEN YOUNG PAGE Helen Young Page of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of McHenry, died Tuesday, July 5, at St. Petersburg. She was 90 years old, born in McHenry March 21, 1893, the daughter of John R. and Emma (Thurlwell) Smith. Mrs. Page had lived in McHenry all her life until 1973 when she moved to Florida. She was preceded in death by her first husband, George J. Young, in 1943; and her second husband, Ray Page, in 1970. Surviving are one son, Alfred W. Young of St. Petersburg; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Bonnie Meyers of Johnsburg, Mrs. Elida Foster of Moline, 111. and Mrs. Celia Mc- Farland of Bridgeview, 111.; seven grand­ children;" eight great­ grandchildren; and two brothers, Edward T. Chambers, Sr., 73, of Crystal Lake, and a 42-year resident of McHenry County, died Monday, July 4, at Sherman hospital, Elgin, 111. He was born July 15, 1909, in Pen- Held, 111., the son of John Francis: and Sophia Margaret (Gunther) Chambers. Mr. Chambers was a parts manager - at Crystal, Lake Truck Sales, Crystal Xake, for many years, until his retirement in 1972. On May 3, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo., he married the former Doris B. Anderson, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, John Peter of McHenry, Dr. Michael Edward of San Diego, Calif., Kevin Mark of Arvada, Colo, and Chief Petty Officer 3rd Class Steven An­ thony of Andrews Air Force Base, Md.; five daughters, Mrs. James (Laura) Schwarz, Sr. of Des Plaines, Mrs. Kenneth (Patricia) Marshall of Aloha, Ore., Mrs. Ted (Bonnie) Zieglar of Schaumburg, M r s . R a y m o n d (Harriett) Rossi of Aurora, Colo, and Mrs. Dennis (Susan) Dalman of Cary. Other survivors are 24 grandchildren; two s i s t e r s , J u a n i t a Chambers of Glenview and Mrs. Wally (Ber- niece) Carlson of Chicago. He was preceded in death by two sons, David and Harry Jr.; four brothers; and one sister.
