Charge Theft At Go-Kart Park McHenry County Sheriff's police arrested an 18-year-old Wonder Lake youth and charged him with a theft from the McHenry Go-Kart track. Jeffrey Opalecky, 18, 6119 Barnard Mill road, Wonder Lake, was charged with theft under $300. County police reported that when Opalecky, a temporary employee, picked up his tools, $40 was discovered to be missing from the cash box. Bond was set at $1,000. McHenry Police arrested William L. Wyman, 22, 5006 Parkview, McHenry, and charged him with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license following a private property accident at Burger King restaurant. DEATHS MARY BROWN Mary Brown, 76, of Johnsburg, died Friday, July 15, at Lake Geneva Manor Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1907, in Johnsburg, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Freund) Klein. A lifetime resident of the Johnsburg area, Mrs. Brown was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic church, Johnsburg. In August, 1968, at St. John's church, she married Russell Brown who survives. Other survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Elizabeth) Schubert of McHenry; one son Eugene Nett of McHenry; five grand­ children; and two sisters, Clara Adams and Regina Michels, both of Johnsburg. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Nett, in 1963; and a brother Arthur Klein. Visitation was held from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home. A Funeral Mass was of­ fered at 9:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's church, With Father Leo Bartel officiating and interment in the church cemetery.
