The series will cover Washington's life from the ages of 18 to 50, including his farewell after victory in the Ameri can Revolution and his return home to a life of peace at Mount Vernon. The series is based on the four-volume life of Washing ton by James Thomas Flsxnsr, which created a human picture of the first president. ANOTHER BOOK PURCHASE -- Erin Gray of "Silver Spoons" and her husband-manager Ken Schwartz have purchased the exclusive rights to Margaret Bourke-Whlte's autobiography, "Portrait of Myself and exclusive movie and TV rights to the life of the photo-journalist and World War II correspondent. Natu rally, it's a project for Erin and there's network interest in aminiseries. UNCLE MILTIE -- Here's what Milton Berte said after turning 75: "I don't feel as old as Henny Young- man's act." When Bob Hope turned 80 recently, and was honored at several parties, 87-year-old George Bums cracked, "At that age, I still had acne." You can't beat these old-timers who think younger and have more energy than half the 20-year-olds in the business. ©IMS Compulog 0 talmffliihlo Q (39) Whore Your Treasure b 7:00PM BOOSo*.
