A good attendance by the com­ munity will help to make the club's civic project a success, and everyone is invited. All profits will go to the squad which is doing such a super service in the area. Couple United In Marriage In St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Attendants were attired in a tea length, apricot taffeta underskirt with a white Chantilly lace and woven satin ribbon tea length overskirt. The bodice featured a Victorian, illusion neckline of Schiffli lace and sleeves of Chantilly lace with wtfen satin ribbon. A Chantilly lace flounce edged the hemline of toe skirt anmthe waistline was banded with an apricot satin ribbon. Handling the duties of best man was the groom s brother, Robert Becker of Crystal Lake. Groomsmen were the bride's brother, Jeffrey Lolli of McHenry; cousins of the groom, Brian Becker of Dundee and David Hardt of Woodstock; and a friend of the groom, Jim Meyer of Elgin. The flower girl was the bride's cousin, Melissa Wolf of Kentucky. A cousin of the groom, Joe Niehotf of Wisconsin, was the ring bearer. The mother of the bride chose a champagne crepe, floor length dress with a ruffled neckline, long sleeves and soft pleats on die front of toe bodice and a cascade of pleats on the front of the straight skirt A flora- length doryn pink gown with a hill appliqued bodice and full chiffon skirt was the choice of the groom's mother. Following a reception for 250 guests at the Branded Steak House. Crystal Lake, the newlyweds embarked on a wedding trip to Palm Springs, Calif. Upon their return, they will reside at 7790 Miller road, Crystal Lake. The bride graduated from Marian Central Catholic high school, Woodstock ; McHenry County college in 1980; and is a teacher at Kinder Care, a day care center in McHenry. A graduate of Crystal Lake Central high school, the groom is a self- employed dairy farmer. The former Lisa Lolli and William (Bill) Becker, Jr. were united in holy matrimony Saturday, Aug. 13, in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton church, Crystal Lake. The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Phyllis Lolli, 1105 Saddle Creek trail, McHenry. William and Rosemary Becker, Sr., 7820 Miller road, Crystal Lake are the parents of the bridegroom. The 5:30 p.m. liturgy was presided over by Father Joseph F. Kulak, at an altar covered with a cloth specially made to match the wedding theme; with one long, low arrangement in the center and vases of gladioli and mixed flowers on each end. To further enhance the setting, apricot pew bows, decorated with greenery, marked the aisle. Appropriate musical selections were performed by organist-soloist, Carol Grivett, who also accompanied Cindy Foerster as she sang the "Prayer To St. Francis". The bride wore a white bridal gown, designed with a Victorian neckline of Schiffli lace. The long, leg o' mutton sleeves were fashioned of Chantilly lace; as was the bodice, which was further embellished with a scattering of pearls. The hemline of the skirt and chapel length train were highlighted with Chantilly lace. Her headpiece of corded Chantilly lace was lavished with pearls and sequins. Additional pearls and corded Chantilly appliques accented the corded edge veiling. Attending her sister as maid of honor was Lori Lolli of McHenry. Bridesmaids were the groom's sister, Theresa Becker of Crystal Lake; and friends of the bride, Cindy Foerster, Pamela Montgomery and Lisa Hardt, all of Woodstock. Bishop's Mass For Widowed NAIM's Annual Diocesan Council Mass and Dinner will be held Sept. 25, at St. Mary's church, Elgin, 111., beginning at 4 p.m. in the church. Mass will be followed by a social hour and dinner at 6 p.m. Bishop Arthur J. O'Neill of Rock- ford will celebrate the Mass. All widowed of the diocese are welcome. Sponsors Playgroups Making new friends, playing and sharing with other children are im­ portant social skills for preschoolers to acquire. Opportunities are available for preschool age children to play with others their own age in an informal setting. Playgroups are being organized in many communities throughout the county. Many of them meet once a week, taking turns hosting the playgroup in each other's homes. This also provides a good opportunity for moms to meet other moms with children of the same age. All who would like more information about a playgroup for tw^ fco five-year-olds are urged to please call Sandy Schmitt Singles Groups On Personality "Jung's Theory of Personality Types: How They Influence Our Work, Lives, and Loves" is the title of John Giannini's lecture to a combined meeting of Graduate Degree Singles and Singles In The Humanities, Friday, Aug. 19, at 8 p.m., at the Evanston Holiday Inn, 1501 Sherman. 'Giannini is a professor of Graduate Religious Studies at Mundelein college and a lecturer at the C. G. Jung Center and the Chicago Institute of Jungian Analysts. He has a diploma in Jungian Analysis from the In­ terregional Society of Jungian Analysts and the International Society of Jungian Analysts. In addition to lecturing widely, both locally and nationally, Giannini conducts his own private practice and is a Consultant in at 338-0252, before Sept. 5. The Childbirth and Parenting Association of McHenry County, a group of parents dedicated to promoting healthy and happy children, is sponsoring the organization of playgroups in toe area. Members of the playgroups are asked to help support C.fcP.A. by becoming members.
