Her husband Clyde preceded her in death in 1980. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Donald (Kathleen) Carlson of McHenry; four grandsons, DaVjid, Michael, Rick and Billy; a grand­ daughter Sara; and a sister, Mrs. Marge Hulting of Moline, EL. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Peter jM. Justren & Son funeral home. Burial was in Woodland cemetery. Friends called from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Franzen, 928 Wiltshire, McHenry, and a passenger in the Smith vehicle, Laurie A. Tripamer, 1115 River Road, McHenry, were taken to McHenry Hospital for treatment of injuries. Two drivers involved in a collision last Friday at the intersection of McCullom Lake Road and Orleans Street were taken to McHenry Hospital for examination and treatment of injuries. Terri Kruckenberg, 704 Logan St, McHenry, had stopped in traffic to make a left turn onto Orleans, Street, when her car was struck in the rear. The Losch vehicle ran into the rear of an auto driven by Michele C. Larsen, of 501 Mineral Springs, McHenry. The Larsen vehicle then collided with an auto driven by Jean M. Sne was born April 1, 1896, in Woodstock, the daughter of John and Katharine (Herdklotz) Miller. Mrs. Beardsley was a lifetime member of the First United Presbyterian church; and a forma* • Republican Precinct Com- mitteewoman. In May, 1915, in Aurora, IL, she was married to Ray Beardsley, who preceded her in death in 1939. She was also preceded by two daughters, Beatrice and Glenn*; two brothers; and two sisters. Surviving are two sons, Harold of McHenry and Richard of Orange, CA; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Schneider- Leucht-Merwin & Cooney funeral home, with the Rev. Hal LeMert officiating and burial in Oakland cemetery, Woodstock. Memorials would be appreciated to Sunset Manor. CLARA BICKLER Clara A. Bickler, 90, of McHenry, died Friday, Aug. 26, at Royal Terrace. She was born Nov. 5, 1892, in Illinois, the daughter of John and Magdelena (Wagner) Worts. A lifetime resident of McHenry, Mrs. Bickler was a member of the Church of St. Mary of the Assump­ tion, McHenry. She is survived by one son, William "Cliff" (Juliette) Bickler of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; three grand­ children, Michael (Christine) Lackey of Fox River Grove, Jan Bickler of Sherman Oaks, CA, and Mrs. Andre (Gail) Remogna of Cary, IL; and three great­ grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Theodore in 1958; a daughter Evelyn Lackey, May 25, 1979; a grandson, Capt. Michael Bickler, USAF, in 1981; and five brothers and sisters. Visitation was held Sunday at the George R. Justen & Son funeral ' home; a Funeral Mass was con­ ducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's church with Father Davfd Heuser officiating; and interment was in the church cemetery. The family requests Catholic Masses in her name. IRENE EDDY Irene L. Eddy of McHenry died Friday, Aug. 26, at Memorial Hospital for McHenry County, Woodstock. She was 80 years old, born in Minnesota Feb. 16. 1903, to ETHEL BRUCE Ethel Bruce of McHenry died Friday, Aug. 26, in Poway, CA. She was 47 years old, born in Monmouth N.J. June 4, 1936, the daughter of Alfred an Charlotte (Roswell) Worn bough. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Cindy) Sands of Woodstock and Becky Bruce of McHenry; one grandson; her parents of Crystal Lake; and three brothers, Cliff, Ken and Ernie Wombough, all of Crystal Lake. She was preceded in death by a son William, June 4, 1964. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Peter M. Justen k Son funeral home with Pastor Thomas E. Lowery of the ' Frist United Methodist church of­ ficiating and burial in Woodland cemetery. Visitation was scheduled from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday ROXIE BREUER Roxie Breuer of Barrington, formerly of McHenry, died Satur­ day, Aug. 27, in Good Shepherd Hospital, Barrington. She was born Aug. 31, 1947, in Evans ton, IL. Mrs. Breuer was a homemaker; belonged to St. Anne Catholic church, Barrington; was a member of the Bible Study group of the Village Church of Barrington, and the Ladies Sodality of Christ the King Catholic Church, Wonder Lake. Surviving are two daughters, Melissa Marie and Jaime Lynn; her parents, Jane and Daniel Capulli of Barrington; grandparents, William and Lovell Patterson of Phoenix, AR; a brother Charles E. Wright of Streamwood, IL; and three sisters, Mrs. Marcie Sutherland of Schaumburg, Mrs. Mary Griffiths of Meadowdale and Mrs. Jane Ann Capulli of Barrington. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St. Anne church and burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Barrington. Steal Car From Parking Lot Near Area Restaurant A car, belonging to Donald Schramm, of McHenry, was among the items Reported stolen this past week. Schramm, 3407 Skyway, McHenry, reported the theft of his vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot of Little John's restaurant. Daniel Ross, 9003 Winn Road, Spring Grove, called county police when he discovered that someone had stolen two bicycles and some equestrian equipment from a storage building on his property. Charles M. Piper, of McHenry, reported the theft of his golf clubs, watch, umbrella and golf cart from Pistakee Country Club, east of McHenry. Ronald Busse, 1804 Church Road, McHenry, called county police when he discovered the theft of 10 gallons of gasoline from each of two vehicles parked at the residence.
